Veterinarian/Owner

School: Bachelor of Arts in Biology and minor in music from Luther College 1990.  Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine 1994.

Pets: I currently have 9 different species of animals who share my life, and multiples of many of those. Animals are not only my profession, they are truly an important part of my world!

Best Advice I Have Received (and taken!): Do what you love, and love what you do.

Favorite Place I Have Traveled To: The people and animals of Africa have a special place in my heart. I have been to Malawi, Kenya, Tanzania, and have climbed Kilimanjaro to raise money for a school for girls in Kibera, Nairobi, Kenya. I am currently learning Swahili for when I return. Alaska is the only state I haven’t been to (but I will make it there soon!), and I love the uniqueness that each state of our country has to offer. 

Music I Love: Classical, Country, 80’s Alternative

Favorite Things To Do on the Weekends: Spend time with my family and animals on our small ranch, bike, hike, play tennis, and just be outside.
